Alumni Sponsored Events Open to Parents
Parents are encouraged to attend Lafayette regional events sponsored by Alumni Chapters in their area to meet alumni and other parents and take advantage of the chapter’s programming including faculty presentations and cultural, social and athletic events. Watch your email for invitations to events in your area.
LCAT: Free Transportation Shuttle
The Lafayette College Area Transportation (LCAT) program is the free, campus shuttle bus service provided by the College. The LCAT shuttle provides students with safe and reliable transportation connecting the main campus with the College’s athletic fields, downtown Easton, shopping areas, movie theaters, and primary off-campus student parking areas. LCAT also provides transportation to the Lehigh Valley Airport on designated days at the beginning and end of each semester break and major holidays. Students should check the LCAT Special shuttle schedule prior to booking a flight and reserve a shuttle seat at least 4 business days in advance. The schedule is online at http://publicsafety.lafayette.edu/lcat/ and can be found via the Families website.
Mélange Yearbook
Don’t forget to place your order now for the Official 2017 Lafayette College Mélange Yearbook! It’s all here – all the year’s highlights including sports, academics, clubs, student life, and senior portraits. The book is beautifully printed and bound in one spectacular edition. The 2016-17 yearbook is created entirely by students of Lafayette and is sure to be treasured by your student for a lifetime. Published exclusively by students since 1889, the Mélange stands as one of Lafayette’s most prominent commemorative records. The 2016-17 edition will be an 8.5” x 11”, 168-page, full-color hardbound publication that chronicles the year’s events in brilliant photos and copy. Copies will only be printed to fulfill orders received. Senior parents may also honor their soon-to-be graduate with a customized Senior Tribute ad.
