Hello Lafayette Families,

July is the halfway point of summer and the perfect time for me to touch base with you as your student looks forward to their year ahead on campus. Allow me to extend a warm welcome to the families of the Class of 2023! You are joining a community of educators, staff, alumni, and fellow families who all work in concert to support your student throughout their Lafayette journey. An equally hearty hello to the families of our rising Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors! We are excited for another year of working together to provide your student with resources and support as they learn and grow at their home on the Hill.

The Families website at families.lafayette.edu is your prime resource for supporting your student with all things Lafayette. This is specifically designed with YOU in mind, to provide a central location for important information. My role is to serve as your liaison to the College. Please contact my office if you need information, or if you need assistance helping your student navigate their college experience.

Your role is to be a mentor, advisor, supporter, and guide. Shifting your relationship as your student learns to become independent through problem-solving and decision-making is a journey for you and for them. Now is the time to empower your student to find solutions using all the campus resources available to them.
